Welcome to GENEVA MOTOR LODGE
We are pleased you have chosen to stay with us here in our beautiful City of Rotorua.
If you are enjoying our region like we do and wish to reduce our impact on it, you may wish to consider the following.
We here at GENEVA MOTOR LODGE always endeavour to save power by using
Energy Saving Light bulbs and using Key Control Power savers.
Also ensuring we turn off any lights or switches not required while in the room. You may wish to do the same.
We and our staff turn off taps when we are not directly using water. You are welcome to do the same. If you would like to re use your towels please place then back on towel rail, or place them in the shower cubicle and we will replace them for you.
We and our staff always try to reduce waste by recycling any glass, cans and paper.
Should you choose to do this also, please leave them next to your rubbish bin and we will collect them when we service your room or alternatively you may place them in the bin for sorting next to the rubbish bins outside the Motel Laundry.
To assist with reducing Paper waste we will only supply a newspaper if requested and supplying you with an invoice only if required.
We endeavour to purchase the bulk of our supplies from local sources which supports employment in our community .All our cleaning products are bio degradable.
Our support to Conservation and Community Groups is giving any used or surplus goods to local charities such as Womens Refuge or Salvation Army, Monetary Donations or Free Accommodation Vouchers to various Local Sporting Group's, Red Cross & The Coastguard. GENEVA MOTOR LODGE also sponsors a Kiwi Chick (Rosabelle) through Kiwi Encounters.
We hope you leave GENEVA MOTOR LODGE knowing your support and actions help us maintain or enhance our lovely environment.
