Bill & Sheryll moved to Rotorua from Matamata and have owned and operated GENEVA MOTOR LODGE from 2003,since which they have spent a lot of that time refurbishing the Motel bringing it up to the Qualmark “4 Star” quality it is today. Along with their wonderful team of Housekeepers (Helena, Sandra & Mary) they pride themselves on presenting very clean and comfortable rooms to their guests.

Bill’s background  was a Director of a Plumbing firm in Matamata, these days you can find him usually in his (Overall’s) doing  all the maintenance work around the Motel and he is the “Breakfast Cook”. He does get some spare time,where he will spend a little at the Gym or going for a Mountain Bike ride through our beautiful Redwoods and meeting up with the other Motel Men at the local club on a Thursday night.

Sheryll’s background was in Customer services at the Bank of New Zealand in Matamata.She is the one most likely to greet you when you arrive and enjoys being able to help out with ideas of how to spend your time while visiting our City and surrounds. In her spare time she enjoys Sewing, Craft work and dabbles in a bit of Painting, also a round of Golf which sadly isn’t too often. And of course catching up with the other ladies for coffee and a chat.

Because Rotorua has so much to see and do, it is always a pleasure to spend time with their guests telling them of the beautiful Forests & Lakes, the Activities & Thermal Parks and the number of Great Restaurants. Sadly some don’t allow enough time here  and leave a little disappointed they weren’t able to experience more of what Rotorua has to offer.
